For generations, a charming alpine hut has been nestled in a small clearing in the Waidring hiking area. When host Cornelia was a little girl, the Talsenalm was a popular excursion spot. After an extensive forest walk, visitors were rewarded with the very best biscuit cones from the "Tois."

Hundreds of years ago, the Talsenalm was painstakingly built and developed by hand. With great craftsmanship and dedication, we have restored this aging gem to its former glory. Hosts Roland and Cornelia Defrancesco meticulously renovate the historic alpine hut with natural materials and traditional craftsmanship. Since 1928, the hut has been preserved in its original state, so we focus on gentle and sustainable renovation. From summer 2021, the Talsenalm has been powered by solar energy. Spread across two floors, the hut features a spacious living area and a wood stove for your mountain retreat in Austria. This forest habitat is particularly suitable for renting for family and friend vacations. On the generous veranda, you can fully enjoy the stunning nature surrounding the refuge and the fresh mountain air. What could be more relaxing than listening to the sounds of the trees and wildlife while gazing at the beautiful views of the Loferer Steinberge and the Chiemgau Alps?

The prices are per night, additional € 2,80 local tax per person (older than 16 years) and night and additional one-time final cleaning fee from € 90 (up to 4 people) or € 120 (5 to 10 people).
